is a college town where world- famous educational
institutions such as Harvard and MIT, students,
professors and researchers reside. Transportation
is very convenient through the Subway T-
Red line and bus schedules. Restaurants,
boutiques, and a concentration of bookstores
surround Harvard Square, in the center
of town. A small Japanese community with
restaurants, a grocery market, and bookstores
exists in the Porter Square area. However,
the areas to the south and north part of
Central are not always safe.
